Between 2007 and the present I have taught at California State University San Marcos, University of California San Diego, and University of Montana, as well as teaching as a guest Texas Christian University, San Diego State University, Ohio State University, Dennison University, Kenyon College, University of Alabama, Western Washington University, and more.
I teach university courses in all levels of contemporary technique, choreography, improvisation, Contact Improvisation, ensemble and repertory, performance practices, somatics, introduction to dance/dance appreciation, and internship in children’s dance.
I have taught guest/specialized classes in composition, aesthetics and criticism, dance history, contemporary technique, ballet, improvisation, Contact Improvisation, performance practices, professional topics seminars, arts in education, teaching dance in the community, and collaboration practices.
I teach contemporary dance, choreography, improvisation, and Contact Improvisation nationally and internationally in festivals, institutions, and communities. I have also taught extensively in the public schools in Montana.
